This is Kirin, a character who was bitten by a were-leopard. - she belongs to *kittystavern who is working on (from what I have seen) a truly gorgeous 3d version of Miss Adventure..
I took this art-trade as an opportunity to experiment, and started off with a bunch of photo-textures laid under the sketch ( wet skin, leopard fur) and ended up 'painting' over it with a very transparent brush, to work up a nice sketchy looking drawing..
Because I used a lot of techniques that I might have used when drawing a picture with pastels, paint and pencil, it came out looking decidedly less digital than a lot of my other pictures..
I'm realy happy with it, and I hope you are too Kitty! ;)

I've never met a leopard who wears a bikini. To be fair though, I'm not sure I've met any leopards at all anyway.

You've achieved a really great effect with this piece. There are some spots where I personally would have liked to have seen a bit more blending of the tones, but this is a very well-done picture. Great use of the anime style, and the whole methodology of how this picture came together is really amazing.
