MissAdventure: Rush Hour by DrewGardner MissAdventure: Rush Hour by DrewGardner
I've never done a cartoon version of Miss Adventure before, and I'm experimenting with that coloured-outline style, -- so here it is.
She's on her way to the scene of a crime, bounding through traffic..
Let's just hope she doesn't meet any oncoming juggernauts!

It was fun to exagerate Tammy's already ample curves, - you can get away with so much more in this cartoony style.
The background is the usual mixture of airbrushing, blur-filters and lighting effects..

I hope this and the other MissAdventure pic I posted today will help inspire any deviant who is planning on entering my 'Miss Adventure in Peril' competition.. (see my Journal for details)

I'm wonderingi f you're a fan of John Kricfalucci or Tex Avery. This style is reminiscant of both of those guys. Tex especially; methinks he had a soft spot fer da sistas.

You've probably seen his stuff and didn't know it; he animated the old "Tom & Jerry" and "Droopy" cartoons from the 50's.

I'm familiar with the creator of Ren & Stimpy, but haven't ever realy seen the work of Tex Avery, even though he is constantly refered to by cartoon historians.. But I'm aware that he has been very influential.
So he had a soft spot for the sistas, huh? Who can blame him? :XD:

very nice style....i love everything on the pic ..but i just have 1 constructive observation to make here...the scene needs more body movement n perspective..she looks a little bit static maybea a little change on the torso position and arm reflection of actoin like shes actually running but besides that everything looks wonderfull!
