I just finished colouring Shade's stylish pencils of one of Spider-man's most creepy enemies, Venom. I picked this drawing from Shade's vast selection of images in order to colour it, so he can sell copies of it as prints. (so drop him a line if you would like a copy)
Half way through this pic, I started to wonder if I hadn't made it too colourful, what do you think?

Holy shat!! Awesome!!!
WOOOOOOOO! Favorite Marvel character of all time!

Doesn't look too bright at all. I actually find it kind of refreshing, seeing Venom in a brighter setting. :)

Venom is awwwesome, so is your render on him! I think you captured his essense well in this overall

The only thing on the color: maybe a little darker blue on venom himself. But I don't think it takes away at all.

Kick ass...you style never ceases to amaze me XD

Here I wait, my anger ready and my heart a blaze, come in if you wish to taste the physical sensation of my pain
Yeah, a brighter setting to match his cheerful and outgoing disposition! I'm considering adding a big speech-bubble saying; "Hi! I'm Venom. Welcome to my worm-infested puddle of brown slime!" =)
*larf*
I think maybe Venom could have used some sort of more muddy look to him to go with the fact that, well, he's standing and covered in mud. Looks cool anyway, as all your pictures do.

You'll always be there, face I live with.
Venom: "I hope to see you soon for tea!"

I like the use of color. Although I don't think there should be any white on the left eye, it just seems strange to have both eyes shaded symetrically that way. It's an awesome picture though.
Hmm, I'd like to try and blame Shade for that,- he made venom's head back-lit, and the rest of him lit from the top and slightly to the right.. But that would just be making lame excuses.. All I can say is that I'm glad you were paying enough attention to the pic to notice such minor details!
You both did such a cool job... the way the coloring is so smooth is awsome and I love how the viens look like theyre popping out. This is really cool
